East London is a harbour town in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. It was founded as a military camp in 1847, became a municipality in 1873 and was elevated to the rank of city in 1914. This site presents features of the city which may be of interest to you. Bear in mind, however, that this is still one person's crusade and I can't do everything — at least, not immediately!
